Can be kept as a potted plant or used as a long-lasting cut flower.
Yellowing leaves usually mean overwatering; brown crispy edges point to dry air or underwatering; leggy growth means it needs brighter light.
Propagates easily from stem cuttings rooted in water or moist soil.
Trim yellowing or damaged leaves at the base with clean scissors, and pinch the growing tips to encourage a fuller, bushier shape.
Feed monthly with a balanced houseplant fertilizer in spring and summer; stop in autumn and winter.
Repot every 1–2 years in spring, moving up one pot size when roots fill the container.
Growth slows in winter — water less and pause feeding. Keep away from cold draughts and hot radiators, which dry the leaves.
