Keep the soil consistently moist and never let it dry out. Bright, indirect light keeps the blooms vivid.
Wilting despite moist soil can mean root stress; dropped buds follow draughts or dryness; faded blooms are simply spent and can be trimmed.
Propagates from softwood stem cuttings taken in late spring.
Deadhead spent blooms and lightly cut the plant back after flowering to encourage a fuller shape and a stronger next flush.
Feed every 2 weeks while budding and flowering with a bloom-boosting fertilizer.
