Accessibility Statement

At House of Flowers we want every customer to get the same service, and we work to make the website and the shop accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility level of the website

The website has been made accessible under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, following Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA.

It was last checked on 17.10.2026 with an automated testing tool (axe), in Hebrew and English, and the colour-contrast problems found were fixed. We keep testing and improving; if you find something that is not accessible, please tell us.

What we have done

• Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter and Esc), with a clear focus indicator.
• Screen-reader support: labels on interactive elements, a proper heading structure and alternative text for images.
• Colour contrast at level AA for text and buttons.
• An accessibility menu (a fixed button in the corner of the screen): larger or smaller text, high contrast and highlighted links.
• Your system's "reduce motion" setting is respected: animations stop, including the scroll animation on the home page.
• The site is available in Hebrew, English and French, and works on phones and with zoom.

Parts that are not fully accessible

• The payment page is run by our payment provider, HYP, and is not under our control. If you have difficulty paying, we are happy to take your order by phone.
• The embedded Google map on the home and delivery pages is not fully accessible to screen readers. The address and opening hours are also given as text.
• The scroll animation on the home page is decorative; its content also appears as text, and it stops when reduce motion is on.
• PDF invoices and receipts are produced by EZcount and are not tagged for screen readers. We are happy to email the details in an accessible format.
• Some catalogue photos from suppliers contain text inside the image; the essential information is also in the product description.

The shop is at 230 Ben Yehuda Street, Old North, Tel Aviv-Yafo. Opening hours: Sun-Thu 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM · Fri 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM · Sat Closed.
